This year I want to do a lot more home improvement projects. Like paint my kitchen table! Hopefully it will be white in a few weeks:)! I want to take more trips to see the temple and to see the new Gilbert temple site. It's so amazing to see. Especially when you have a 3 year old who is just as excited!

Haggarton Family weekend!

What a fun weekend we had! My brother & his family came down from Utah and we had a family reunion. We went to parks, had great food, and the guys all went to super cross while we had a girls night out! On Monday we went to the Arizona Sonoran Desert museum. It was so beautiful. The kids had a great time seeing and interacting with all the desert animals.

We had so much fun at the Thatchers on Christmas eve doing the nativity & gift exchange. Grandma & grandpa Thatcher got the boys there own wagon. So COOL!
We had a great time at the Haggartons as well. Yummy food, gift exchange, awesome presents, and we all got to talk to my brother Josh on his mission! It was so special. My favorite part was when he bore his testimony to us. What a wonderful testimony he has! He is a great example to look up too. Love him!

Jonas Chandler Thatcher. Born August 24th, 1:20 am. Weighed 8lbs 3oz. 21 inches.
I woke up around 5 am Tuesday the 23rd having some contractions. Like every 20 min. Then some would be every 10 min. The funny thing was I was waiting for them to go away. I was scheduled to be induced 5 am on the 24th. I did NOT want to go into labor on my own. I was induced with Jeremiah and loved it so I wanted the same thing for this one. Anyways, I was contracting the whole day. Like 15 min apart ALL day. Just waiting for them to go away because I was going to be induced, right? We got the carpets cleaned that day & spent some time at my in laws. After dinner I took a bath & shower, contractions were every 5 min! We were on our way to the hospital. WOW I was in a lot of pain! I was 2 centimeters the day before. So I get to triage and I'm at a 7!!! 7 centimeters!!!! What was I thinking waiting all day for the contractions to go away. Of course I asked for an epidural. Ummm... yes please! Got the meds, pushed a couple of times, and he was here. It was just an eventful day. Everything is good and he is a good baby. I'm very blessed.

These were the only pictures I got of today. Jeremiah riding with his dad on my sisters bike. There was only one helmet and it had to be pink. He loved it though.

Ok so my sister, her friend and I went to L.A. this past weekend. Oh my heck! It was so fun! All we did was shop. Pretty much till we dropped for 2 day straight. Above is a random picture I took of us while we were in the fashion district downtown.

A couple of weeks ago we went to my sisters cabin for the weekend. If was a wonderful get away. Nice weather, great food, and sweet family. Jeremiah loved to play on his cousins quads. It was so cute listening to him make the brrrrm brrrrm sounds.

San Diego!

On 4th of July weekend weekend my sweet sister asked if Jeremiah & I would go to San Diego with them while Todd had to work. And we did! It was a blast! Above are the boys watching a movie.(thank you DVD player)

The San Diego zoo was so cool! We saw the panda bears, it happen to be their potty break at that time. gross.

Today we went to see Jeremiah Robinsons memorial in Mesa. I am grateful for him and his sacrifice he gave for our country. I am very grateful for the men and woman who serve our country.

This past week some birds have made my wall hanging their home. I had flowers in it but once I noticed they were making a nest I took it out. I didnt know what to do with it so I just kept it there.

Two little eggs. It makes me nervous. I dont want nothing to happen to them. But I hope this hatching thing will go by fast.

This is what I have been working on. New curtain panels for my dinning area. So fun! When I find my better camera I will take better pictures.

We are enjoying the baseball season( even though the D-backs are not doing so hot) we got baseball mitts. Todd already had one we just got me and Jeremiah one.

So we went to the park and played catch but I only got a picture of the boys feeding the ducks. It was fun and cute.

This was an old skirt of mine that I only wore once. It's really cute but didn't fit right. i have been wanting to make it into a lamp shade for a cuple of years.

I love the ruffles on the bottom.

We got this lamp shade for our wedding and we have used it since. It has never matched anything really but it has been good to us.

This is how I wanted it but it just didn't look right...

so I gathered it on the sides.

These are some burp cloths that I made over spring break for moms to be. i had so much fun making them!

On Easter morning we came down the stairs and He was so excited to see some toys and candy. He threw all the Easter eggs becuase he thought that they were balls. He got to eat a little bit of candy but I put a banana in his basket because he loves them just as much as candy. He was very happy.

I tried to make a bunny pancake...Oh well.

This was the result of the chocolate from the pancake...Yummmm.

Got this lamp on sale for $15 3 1/2 years ago at Wal-Mart. Got some trim to put around the bottom. I might add something else to it later.

Christmas was so fun! We spent it with both sides of the family. On Christmas eve We played out the nativity. Im trying to hold Jeremiah in place for the picture but the manger (luandry basket) was fun to play with.Sorry the picture is a little blurry.

Our good friends, Christina and Richard Ellis, invited us to go up to the white mountains to look for a tree. This is one that I found. It's missing a few branches but that's ok. I love because it's from a place I love so much. The tree skirt was my families tree skirt growing up. My mom said I could have it. I Love it. (that is Londyn playing with the tree)

So he was not the happiest trick or treater. Sorry this picture was so blurry. It's the best one I've got of him standing up. My mom made this costume 30 years ago. I think most of my siblings have used it. I thought it would be cute if Jeremiah wore it.
We don't get any trick or treaters at our house. We went to my mom's house Halloween night and had some awesome chili. It was fun to see everybody that was there. I didn't dress up this year. I didn't know what to be. I think i am going to plan better next year.

I went to some garage sales on Saturday with my mom. I needed to find some church clothes for Jeremiah. I found the cutest ones! This is a suit jacket I got for 50 cents. I got a lot of other things for 25 cents, a bow tie, some regular ties, and some suspenders. I can't wait till he gets to wear them to church!

I am so excited for the fall! I love using my sewing machine! I made these fall pumpkins and they are my favorite thing. Julie made some also and they are so cute. My mother in-law helped us make them. She is so awesome! These pictures are taken from my phone so sorry if they didn't turn so great.

Its so crazy to think I survived the first 2 weeks of having a newborn. I had no idea what I was doing and kind of still don't. Im just remembering the feelings I had when we brought him home and makes me kind of sick to my stomach, it was really scary. So much emotion, I mean to the EXTREME. I don't know how to explain it. He is a pretty good boy. He said "Thank You" the other day. I was freaking out. He said it three times but will not say it anymore. He likes to say "no no no no" while shaking his finger. He says "ya ya" and pretends he is talking on the phone. He says momma and dadda sometimes. He is a super good walker. He is really good at kicking around a soccer ball. He just found his ears yesterday and likes flap them. He is so cute. I love him. ( Question for everyone: Does anyone elses docter say to keep there child rear facing in a carseat till there 2?)

This was my 4th of July. I got all my sewing done. My sweet mother in-law got Julie and I sewing machines. SO EXCITING! I love my new toy. So during the weekend, while my baby took his napes and after he went to bed, I made these valances.(I made another set of 3 of these.) My sister, Alyssa, helped me make these pillows. Im so glad my house is coming together with decor.

On monday afternoon we went to see the headstone of my husbands good friend Jeremiah Robinson who was killed in Iraq in October 2005. We have come here every year and this year was special because we had our little Jeremiah whom we named after Jeremiah Robinson.

We have been so busy. Jeremiah is getting so big. He has been crawling everywhere for about 2 months now. He is pulling himself up on things and climbing up on things, over and under, everywhere. Its fun. He does somrthing new every day. He is 9 months and has no teeth yet. He eats the soft baby food. I give him some of those stars that can melt in there mouths. He chokes on them. I guess we will have to keep on waiting.

Look at this little guy. He is so fun. My mom took these pictures. He would not look at the camera. He would look only at the person who was taking the picture. He is 5 months and weighs 16 lbs. He has a little patch of hair in the front that likes to stick up. We had a good Christmas. We spent most of the day at my inlaws house. We got a lot of food for our food storage. Jeremiah got some chewy toys but mostly he liked the wrappers.

I have never read Twilight

I've never read Twilight but i went and saw the movie with my sisters and mom. I thought it was awesome. I hate reading a book and then going and seeing the movie and having high hopes that it was just as good as the book, watching it then picking it all apart and thinking of what could have made it better because IM GOING TO WATCH THE MOVIE MORE THEN READ THE BOOKS! I had people tell me about the books and the jist of the story line because i was never going to read the books. I always have people tell me the ending of things because i can't wait to find out about them. So maybe, just maybe i might read Twilight because the movie was so good. p.s.sorry for those who have tagged me, i will get right on that.

A Little Fun With Jeremiah

Jeremiah is growing up . Its so fun. It was a little hard at first but it gets better every day. I am going to say that he is a hard baby. He will not take a pacifier. He does not like being in the car. I have to let him cry himself to sleep. Once in a while he will fall asleep on his own. He will talk himself to sleep sometimes. When he is asleep, he sleeps great. He is great at naps and at night, so thats not hard. Boy is he a chatter box. He talks to himself all the time, i love it. He rolls over both ways... when he feels like it. When i lay him down he likes to turn his body around the other way ( you will see it in the slide). He is going to have great abs becuase he always has his legs up in the air. He has a little bit of a flat head but thats ok. He likes to sit in his bumpo sometimes. We have fun with our little guy.

We bought this poncho when we went to Mexico in August. I waited last minute to get a costume for Jeremiah. Then i thought about the poncho we had bought. Perfect! He will be my little spanish man. I used some brown eye liner for for his stach. He looked sooo funny and sooo cute. It was a fun night at my mom and dads house for a little block party. Todd was not there. He was gone hunting for the weekend with his dad and brother. We missed him alot.

My friend Melisha lost her husband in a car accident yesterday morning. Shane Figueroa was a police officer for Phoenix PD and was hit by a drunk driver on his way to a call. They have a three month old baby girl. Please keep her and her family in your hearts and prayers. We love you Melisha.

So i have not been to relief sociaty in a verey long time becuase jeremiah decides its going to be his fussy time so i go home but today i tried it out. it wasnt so bad just five minutes into the lesson he starts to cry and everybody is looking at me. i get up and hold him thinking he would be fine, he cries even harder. then i find myself heading out the door(i wasnt going home). i go out to be with the other moms in the hallway. it was funny becuase they were welcoming me out there.i was a first timer. i was meeting fun girls.(so this is what its like when i see women taking there kids out). im sure i will be meeting more hall moms in the future when my baby continues to fuss.

We just got back from our Haggarton vacation in Rosarito, Mexico. It was wonderful. It wasn't that bad having a new born baby with us becouse 3 of my other siblings had babies too. It was really fun having all of us together. Jenna and Devon could not come and we missed them terribly. We lived without air conditioning for a week. All the doors and windows were open the whole time. It was really cool getting up in the middle of the night to make Jeremiah a bottle and you could see and hear the ocean right outside the doors and windows. The condo was right on the beach.

We went to church in Mexico on sunday and my niece Reece(3 years old) was trying to talk to this little boy. She asked here dad wy he would'nt say hi to her. He told her to say hola. So she said "hi hola, hey hola"(she thought that was his name) it was so funny.

I just got this disk of maternity pictures. My good friends Troy and Whitney Lunt took them. It was about 110 degrees outside and ants were crawling up my feet but they turned out great.

Sometimes he will fall asleep on dad.

He likes to lay on the rocking chair and waves his arms and kicks his legs. We had no idea what we were doing when we came home from the hospital, so the first week was so crazy. But now we are starting to get the hang of it. You just learn as you go, i guess. He eats a ton and keeps it all down. He is a very good baby.

Thatcher family.

I was supposed to be induced friday, July 25 morning at 9. The hospital called me at 6 am and told they would call me when they had a room. I thought it was going to be a few hours but i called the hospital back at 7 that night and they said i could go in at 11. So exciting! It was a crazy feeling. So they induced at 1am, Saturday the 26 (his due date) started contractions at 3am, epidural at 8am, started pushing at 1:30 pm, and out he came at 1:55. Jeremiah weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. It was so amazing. He is just the sweetest thing. I love my family.

We left the walls white. It looks ok, right? This is the valance.( theres a little window on the other side of the room that has the same valance.) I got the fabric and my mother in law made everything. AWESOME!

ok. im dilated to 1 1/2 cm and im 75%. i could have him anytime. its a little scary. my doc said it would be just fine if i went into labor. those checkups every week...not a fan. i just want to know when im going to go into labor so i wont have to be so scared. my last day of work was on thursday. its wierd being done. i dont know if i should be happy or sad. im going to be doing the hardest job ever...mommy! i feel like i need more time but theres only so much you can do before the baby comes.

Jeremiah Robinson was Todd's friend that was killed in Baghdad, Iraq in 2005 by a roadside bomb. We decided to honor his name by naming our baby boy Jeremiah, after him.

My mom got my dad an AR 15 for fathers day. She wasn't sure if that was the gun he wanted. But when he saw it, he was like a little boy at Christmas time. He was so excited!

This is me at the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It was about 45 miles away from where we camped. The reunion was at Jacobs Lake. It was so nice up there. I actually did not camp. My mother in law, julie, kelsey, and i stayed in the lodge 200 yards away from the camp site. We played horse shoes and had an auction and ate lots of good food.

Sorry you have not heard from me in a while. This is a weird picture of me. I dont look that bad.(you should see my feet). Everything is going great. The baby is moving a lot. My belly is getting really heavy. I have no room inside me so its just growing outward. I had a baby shower last week and it was wonderful. Thanks to my sisters and moms.

This is our baby boy. We found out two weeks ago. It was pretty cool but i have to say its a little weird knowing i have boy parts growing in my body. We are so so excited. Todds face just lit up the room when the tech told us we are going to have a son. It was so special. Todd is going to have a little hunting buddy.
Now we are just getting the room ready. When i find my camera hook up i will have the picture up and ready. Im doing black, white, and a lime green kind of color. I want to do these colors so that if i have a girl next time i can easily add pink and reuse the same baby stuff. Im decorating in twall and stripes. We bought a black crib and Todd put it together first minute he got home. He is going to be such a cute dad. I love him.

Three months is a long time! Sorry guys :)

Just a little about what we've been up to- We found out we are EXPECTING!!! On July 26th our baby is due! We don't know what it is yet but we are way excited!

We also moved into our cute home the week before Christmas and love it. It's perfect for us. It's three bed three bath.

Our second anniversary is coming up this next Monday :) We want to go to a bed & breakfast so that should be so fun.

Lots of exciting things going on! I will try to keep posting about the pregnancy and update you on our life.

St. George

So, my mom, Alyssa & my sister in-law Julie went on a short trip to St. George over the weekend. We went there specifically for a new home decor store called Tai Pan. It's a huge Costco sized store and everything is wholesale. There are two other locations, but they are in the Salt Lake Valley which is just too far, so we decided to drive 7 hours instead. They just opened one in St. George on November 1. We had so much fun there. We spent almost 3 1/2 hours shopping on Friday night. We got some great stuff, and we were relieved when it all fit in Alyssa's trunk. We were worried about not having enough room for what we were going to buy. It was pretty exhausting. On Saturday morning we went and visited the St. George Temple. It is so beautiful. After the temple we went back to Tai Pan one last time to make sure we saw everything there, and each of us ended up buying a few more things. I'm so glad we went. It was a very short trip, but well worth it. It was fun to spend time with my mom, Alyssa & Julie. Here are just a few pics.

Sorry, I haven't updated in a while. I'm sure you all noticed. We have a computer, we just don't have the Internet set up at our apartment. Here is what we've been up to lately. Our most exciting news is that our closing date on our house moved up from the 19th of December to the 7th. We want to paint a little and do a few other things before we move in, but I don't know if we are going to be able to wait because we are so excited.

I am working at Deseret Book part time again aside from working at the salon. I don't work at the salon full time, so it's good to have something to do on the days I don't work there, plus make a little extra money.

I am going to St. George this weekend with my mom, sister Alyssa & sister in-law Julie. We are going to Tai Pan. It's a wholesale home decor store they just opened there. Hopefully We'll find some good stuff.

Again I'm sorry for not updating in a long time. I'm not sure how long after we move into our new place that we'll get the Internet hooked up, so just bare with me for a while.

I promise I will post a picture or two from this weekends girl getaway. So check back early next week. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

The concert was amazing. It was the best. Rascal Flatts are so good live. We had really good seats. It was really funny because we sang every song. We thought the concert was over untill.....

this last april, todd graduated from the police academy.yea! he is working for the department of puplic safty.DPS, which is highway potrol man. i am so proud of him. so if you are not already our friends, sorry, he will give you a ticket. just kidding. i am working as a hair stylist at a solon called HairDo. its very fun. we are living in an apartment right know. we are building a town home out in power ranch. it will probably be done around christmas. we are very excited. for now , todds little sister is getting married in august, so we are getting ready for that.
